Why does my student see duplicate activities?
Why does my student see duplicate activities?
Updated over a week ago

If your students see some duplicate activities, they might have been assigned the activity in more than one activity pack.

In order to find and remove a duplicate activity from a student's dashboard, navigate to the My Activities page.

Search for the duplicate activity by name.

Tip πŸ’‘: Use the Ctrl+f or Cmd+f keyboard shortcuts to search for the activity by name.

Then, click the Add/remove students assigned button for that activity.

Clicking the Add/remove students assigned button will bring you a page containing the rosters for each of your classes.

If the activity pack is currently assigned to a student, the box next to the student's name will be checked, and you will see the copy, Pack assigned, to the far right of the student's name.

To unassign the activity pack from students who are currently assigned the activity pack, uncheck the boxes to the left of the students' names. After unchecking the boxes next to the students' names, you will see the copy, Pack will be removed, to the far right of the students' names.

If you would like to unassign the activity pack from an entire class, click the Unselect all button for that class.

Once you have unchecked the boxes next to the names of the students from whom the activity pack needed to be unassigned, click the Update students assigned to pack button.

Please note that you will see a warning message that the students from whom you are unassigning the activity pack will no longer see the activities in this activity pack, regardless of whether or not they have completed these activities. Furthermore, when an activity pack is unassigned from a student, you will no longer have access to that student's data for that activity pack in your data reports.

Tip πŸ’‘: Please note that unchecking the box next to any student's name will unassign the diagnostic from that student and remove that student's data for the diagnostic, so keep the box next to a student's name checked if you would like to keep their data for that diagnostic. The student will not be reassigned the diagnostic. Learn more about this here.
