To remove a student from a class, please navigate to the Manage Classes page.
Then, click on the class from which you want to remove the student and check the box to the left of the name of the student whom you want to remove.
Then, click the Actions dropdown menu.
Lastly, click the Remove from class option.
Note ⚠️:
If your roster is synced via an integration (Google Classroom, Clever, Canvas, or ClassLink), removing a student from Quill does not remove them from your source roster. As long as the student is still on the source roster, they'll reappear in Quill on the next sync.
To permanently remove a student from a synced class:
Remove the student from the source roster first. Reach out to your school's IT or roster manager to have the student removed from Google Classroom, Clever, or ClassLink.
Then remove the student from Quill. Once they're off the source roster, delete them from your Quill class and they won't sync back in.
