How do I read the Assign Growth Diagnostic table?
The Assign Growth Diagnostic table shows one row per student.
Each row summarizes how that student is progressing through their assigned practice recommendation activities and whether Quill considers them ready to take the Growth Diagnostic.
Practiced Skills: The number of assigned practice recommendation activity packs that a student has fully or partially practiced.
Not Practiced Skills: The number of assigned practice recommendation activity packs that a student has not yet started practicing.
Not Assigned Skills: The number of practice recommendation activity packs a student has not yet been assigned, including skill practice that a student did not need based on their diagnostic results.
Activities' Average Score: A student's average score across the practice recommendation activities they have completed.
Activities Completed: The total number of practice recommendation activities a student has finished out of the number assigned.
Growth Assignment Recommendation: Quill's recommendation for whether the student is ready to be assigned the Growth Diagnostic.
Ready: Indicates that a student has completed all the practice recommendation activities for their assigned skills and is ready to be assigned the Growth Diagnostic.
Eligible: Indicates that a student has completed all the practice recommendation activities for at least one but not all of their assigned skills, and is eligible to be assigned the Growth Diagnostic as they will show growth in the skills for which they have completed all practice recommendation activities.
Not Yet Ready: Indicates that a student has not yet completed all the practice recommendation activities for any of their assigned skills, and is not yet ready to be assigned the Growth Diagnostic.
Assign Growth Diagnostic: The status of whether a student is ready to be assigned the Growth Diagnostic, whether the student has been assigned the Growth Diagnostic, and if the Growth Diagnostic has been assigned, whether the Growth Diagnostic has been scheduled or published for the student.
You can click a student's row to expand it and see a per-skill breakdown. The expanded view lists each of the diagnostic sequence’s skills alongside three details:
Practice Status: Describes how far the student has progressed on that skill's practice.
Fully Practiced: The student was assigned the practice recommendation activities for the skill, and the student has completed all of the activities.
Partially Practiced: The student was assigned the practice recommendation activities for the skill, and the student has completed some but not all of the activities.
Not Practiced: The student was assigned the practice recommendation activities for the skill, but the student has not yet completed any of the activities.
Not Assigned: The student was not assigned the practice recommendation activities for the skill.
Activities Completed: The number of practice recommendation activities the student has completed for the skill.
Activities' Average Score: The student's average score on the practice recommendation activities they have completed for the skill.
