When a student completes the AP® Writing Skills Survey, Quill creates a plan of practice recommendation activities for the student based on the student's performance. Please follow the instructions below to assign these practice recommendation activities.

Please navigate to the Diagnostics reports in the My Reports tab.

Then, select the class whose data you would like to see from the dropdown menu in the upper left corner and click the View results and recommendations button for the AP® Writing Skills Survey whose data you would like to see.

Then, on the left side of the subsequent page, please click the Practice recommendations tab.

Then, click the Assign activity packs button to assign the practice recommendation activities to students.

Once you click the Assign activity packs button, click either the Staggered Release button or the Immediate Release button. Staggered Release allows students to complete one practice recommendation activity pack at a time and locks the other practice recommendation activity packs until all of the activities in the currently open practice recommendation activity pack are completed. Once all of the activities in the currently open practice recommendation activity pack are completed, the next consecutive practice recommendation activity pack will be unlocked. Immediate Release allows students to access all the activities in every practice recommendation activity pack at once. After choosing either Staggered Release or Immediate Release, each cell representing a practice recommendation activity pack will show the number of activities out of the total number of activities in the activity pack that a student has completed.
