1. Ask students to check spelling, punctuation, capitalization and spacing. If there are additional spaces at the beginning or end of sentence, or more than two spaces between words, our algorithm occasionally gets confused.
  2. If you've checked their answer, and it is in fact correct, here's what to do:
    Take a screenshot of it and email it to our team at support@quill.org.
  3. Message Quill using the chat icon at the bottom right corner of any page on Quill's site. Our team can usually resolve issues with Quill Grammar/Proofreader within 20 minutes, but Quill Connect takes a little longer.

Since we are an open source nonprofit (with only 8 folks on our team), we rely on our community of contributors to aid our algorithm in recognizing correct answers, as we train it to respond to all the sentences it sees.
