How much time should I allot for Quill Lessons?
How much time should I allot for Quill Lessons?
Updated over a week ago

Quill Lessons are intended to take about 20-30 minutes to complete. The length of time depends on how long you choose to spend discussing each answer. While in most cases five minutes is enough, teachers may want to facilitate a longer conversation.

To end a Quill Lesson early, press the Save and Exit Lesson icon in the toolbar at the top of the page at any time. To continue a Quill Lesson with a selected group of students, you can assign independent-practice activities to your other students while implementing the Quill Lesson with the selected group of students. Click here to learn how to assign activities to only a selected group of students.

If you need to abbreviate your time on Quill, you can complete a Quill Lesson and wait to assign the follow-up activity until another time.
