Tip π‘
If you have already rostered your classes and students using one integration, Quill strongly recommends against switching your Quill account to being linked to another integration as doing so can cause duplicate classes and student accounts.

What happens if I see duplicate classes or student accounts after switching integrations?
Switching your Quill account between integrations (Google, Clever, or ClassLink) can sometimes result in duplicate classes or duplicate student accounts.
What should I do if a student has duplicate accounts?
You can resolve duplicate student accounts by merging them. This ensures all of the student's activity data is combined into one account and that they use only one login method.
To merge duplicate student accounts:
Go to the Manage Classes page
Select the class that contains the student
In the Students section, find the student with duplicate accounts
Click the ellipsis (β―) in the Actions column
Select Merge accounts
Choose:
The primary account (the account you want to keep)
The account to merge (the duplicate account)
Confirm by checking the required acknowledgement boxes
Click Merge accounts
π‘ Important: Merging accounts is permanent and cannot be undone. Be sure you are selecting the correct primary and duplicate accounts before completing the merge.
What should I do to resolve duplicate classes?
Please email support@quill.org with the class codes of the classes that you want to be merged in the following format: class code 1 into class code 2. Please click here to learn more about where to find a class code.
