Teacher verification process for Diagnostic Insights
Tip 💡
To engage with the teacher verification process for Diagnostic Insights for a school, an admin will have had to be verified as an admin for the school.
If you are not yet verified as an admin for your school, please click here to learn how to get verified as an admin.
To verify teachers' access of Diagnostic Insights, please navigate to the Account Management page in the Premium Hub of your Quill account.
Select the school for which you want to verify teachers' access of Diagnostic Insights from the dropdown menu near the upper left corner of the table on the Account Management page.
Once you have selected the school for which you want to verify teachers' access of Diagnostic Insights, look in the Verification Status column to see whether or not a teacher has been verified to access Diagnostic Insights.
Teacher verification statuses
A teacher can have one of three statuses in the Verification Status column.
Requested verification
If a teacher has the status of Requested verification, then they have requested to be verified to access Diagnostic Insights for the selected school, and you can either approve or deny their request.
Needs verification
If a teacher has the status of Needs verification, then they have not yet requested to be verified to access Diagnostic Insights for the selected school, but you can proactively approve or deny their request.
Approved
If a teacher has the status of Approved, then they have been verified to access Diagnostic Insights for the selected school, and you can see the admin who verified them in the Reviewed By column.
Verify a teacher's access of Diagnostic Insights
To verify a teacher's access of Diagnostic Insights, select the checkbox to the left of the teacher's name.
Click the Select Action dropdown menu at the upper right corner of the table.
Click the Verify teachers option from the dropdown menu.
Tip 💡
If you want to verify multiple teachers' access of Diagnostic Insights at once, you can select the checkboxes for multiple teachers before clicking the Verify teachers option.
Or, you can select the checkbox in the upper left corner of the table to select all teachers before clicking the Verify teachers option.
Teachers who have already been verified will not be verified again.
When you verify a teacher's access of Diagnostic Insights for a school, they will receive an email notifying them that they have been verified to access Diagnostic Insights for the school.
Revoke a teacher's access of Diagnostic Insights
To revoke a teacher's access of Diagnostic Insights for a school, you can simply unlink them from the school.
To unlink a teacher from a school, click the ellipsis button in the Actions column to the far right of the teacher's name.
Then, click the Unlink from school option from the dropdown menu that appears.
Access a teacher's Diagnostic Insights report from the Premium Hub
To access a teacher's Diagnostic Insights report for a school from the Premium Hub in your Quill account, you will have first had to verify the teacher's access of Diagnostic Insights for the school.
Once you have verified the teacher's access of Diagnostic Insights for the school, log into their Quill account by clicking the ellipsis button in the Actions column to the far right of the teacher's name and clicking the Login as teacher option.
Once you have logged into the teacher's Quill account, navigate to the Diagnostic Insights report in Diagnostic Reports dropdown menu in the View Reports tab.
