How do students see their activity results?

Learn how students see their activity results in their accounts.

Updated over 3 months ago

In their accounts, students are able to see their activity results, which include the responses that they submitted for each prompt in an activity and the feedback that they received for each response that they submitted, for any independent-practice activity (Quill Grammar, Quill Connect, Quill Proofreader, or Quill Reading for Evidence) that they have completed. Read below to learn more about this feature.

Tip πŸ’‘

Please note that students will not be able to see their activity results for Quill Diagnostics or Quill Lessons, except for the follow-up Quill Grammar or Quill Connect activities that follow Quill Lessons. Furthermore, please note that the activity results for Quill Reading for Evidence will not include percentage scores.

How do students see their percentage score for an activity

If the student's teacher has turned on the setting that controls if students see their percentage scores, in the upper right corner of the page with their activity results, the student will see a percentage score for any independent-practice activity (Quill Grammar, Quill Connect, or Quill Proofreader) that they have completed. Please note that a percentage score will not show for Quill Reading for Evidence.

Tip πŸ’‘

Please note that regardless of whether teachers have turned the setting that controls if students can see their percentage scores on or off, students will still be able to see their activity results for the independent-practice activities (Quill Grammar, Quill Connect, Quill Proofreader, or Quill Reading for Evidence) that they have completed.

How do students see data for different replays of an activity?

If the student has replayed the activity, on the Completed activities page in their account, the student will see a blue circle with the number of times that they have completed the activity in the upper right corner of the square to the far right of the activity's name.

Furthermore, in the upper right corner of the page with their activity results, the student will see a dropdown menu from which they may select one of their replays and see the activity results for that replay. Please note that by default, the activity results for the replay with the highest percentage score will be reflected on this page unless the student selects another replay from the dropdown menu.

Tip πŸ’‘

Teachers can also view the data for any replays of an activity using the dropdown menu on a student's Activity Analysis report for an activity.
