What are the different proficiency score ranges on Quill?
When students complete scored independent-practice activities, which include Quill Grammar, Quill Connect, and Quill Proofreader activities, their scores may fall within the following ranges of proficiency score ranges, which correspond with different colors.
Green means that students frequently demonstrated the skill being practiced in the activity while responding to the prompts and scored 83%-100% for the activity.
Yellow means that students sometimes demonstrated the skill being practiced while responding to the prompts and scored 32%-82% for the activity.
Red means that students rarely demonstrated the skill being practiced while responding to the prompts and scored 0%-31% for the activity.
Blue indicates that an activity has been completed, but is not scored. Please note that Quill Diagnostic, Quill Reading for Evidence, and Quill Lesson activities are not scored and will not display students' proficiencies or scores in your data reports.

How do students replay activities?
If you are encouraging your students to go for green or display the proficiency score of Frequently demonstrated skill for an activity, students are able to replay any independent-practice scored activity from their accounts.
To replay an activity, students will click on the Completed activities tab in their Quill accounts.
Then, students will find the activity that they would like to replay. The Replay button will appear to the far right of any scored independent-practice activity (Quill Grammar, Quill Connect, and Quill Proofreader activities).
When a student replays an activity, the data for the replay with the highest percentage score will automatically be reflected in each of the different data reports that Quill generates. However, you can still view the data for any replays of an activity using the dropdown menu on a student's Activity Analysis report for an activity.
Students can replay activities as many times as they wish, but teachers can set due dates for activities to let students know when they will no longer accept scores from replays for those respective activities.
How do teachers see a student's replays of an activity?
To see if a student has replayed an activity and their replays for that respective activity, navigate to the Activity Summary report in the View Reports tab in your Quill account.
If a student has replayed the activity, the activity square that corresponds with the activity will have a blue circle with the number of attempts in the upper right corner.
If you hover over an activity square for an activity in a student's Activity Summary report, you can see some information about the activity, the student's scores for each of their replays of the activity, and some information about the student's performance on the activity.
Tip π‘
When a student replays an activity, you will not only see their scores for each of their replays of the activity on the Activity Summary report, but you will also see the students' responses for each of their replays of the activity on the Activity Analysis report.
