Once you've chosen and assigned the Quill Lesson of your choice (check out our guide if you need a refresher), arrange for a time to conduct the lesson with your students over a video conferencing platform, such as Zoom or Google Hangouts.

Launch the lesson from your teacher dashboard in the Launch Lessons page of your My Activities tab, and then instruct your students to log in and join the lesson.

From there, you will be able to conduct the lesson and move through the slides from your Teacher Script view.

Your students will similarly be able to follow along and engage with the prompts, from the student view of the lesson slides on their screens.

Tip: To set-up your computer desktop for using Quill Lessons, you will want to arrange your screen carefully, to be able to see the faces of some of your students while you navigate the Quill Lesson, as demonstrated in the above screenshots.

In one window, have the Quill Lessons webpage open wide enough so that you can see the site and its’ content comfortably.

In another window, have your video conferencing platform open and arranged to a tile view.

Tip #2: You will not need the Launch Projector or Watch Teacher functions while using Lessons remotely.
