Which of the two Pre-AP® surveys should I assign to my students first?
Updated over a week ago

If you're using Quill with your Pre-AP® classes, we recommend that you first assign the Pre-AP® Writing Skills Survey 1 to your ninth or tenth grade students before moving on to the Pre-AP® Writing Skills Survey 2. The Pre-AP® Writing Skills Survey 1 is the initial recommendation for both English 1 and English 2 students to ensure that no skill is glossed over.

This article explains how to assign a Pre-AP® Writing Skills Survey.

Tip 💡 Previewing the items on the surveys can help you get a better sense of their level of difficulty. For further information about how to preview an activity, check out our article detailing the preview feature.

Tip 💡 You always have the option of assigning a survey (or any activity on Quill) to a group of students, rather than to the whole class. This article explains how.
