Precision in writing is what allows students' ideas to be as clear they can be. Occasionally, the algorithm requires specificity. Regardless, we’re always encouraging students to be clear and careful.

Precision in writing reinforces precision in reading and understanding what a sentence is saying. Ambiguity in a sentence allows for unclear meaning and confusion. This is a particularly important skill to have when reading and writing in a variety of subject areas, like math, science, and history.
