How do I invite a co-teacher?

To invite a co-teacher, navigate to the My Classes tab.

Then, click on the class to which you'd like to invite a co-teacher. Then, scroll to the bottom of the class roster and click the green Invite co-teachers button in the Teachers section.

In the pop-up menu that appears, enter the co-teacher's Quill account-associated email address and check the boxes next to the names of the classes to which you would like to invite them.

Once you invite a co-teacher, you will see the status, Pending, in the Status column for this co-teacher. Once the co-teacher has accepted the invitation, their status will update to Joined.

How does a co-teacher accept an invitation?

When you send an invitation to be a co-teacher, your co-teacher will receive an email inviting them to be a co-teacher for your class. If they do not have a Quill account, they will be invited to create one. If they already have a Quill account, the invitation will also show at the top of their My Classes page. When they click the Accept hyperlink for this invitation, they will successfully be added as a co-teacher for the class.

Tip 💡: If you are a co-teacher looking to be added to a class, you must have the teacher who is the owner of the class complete the above steps.
