How can I troubleshoot loading issues?

Learn how to troubleshoot loading issues on Quill.

Quill works best on the Google Chrome browser, which you can download on your computer, tablet, or mobile device. We recommend keeping your version of Google Chrome up to date. If you are experiencing loading issues, we have gathered a few tips to help you troubleshoot common issues.

Unable to use certain features

If you are able to log into Quill, but certain features, such as importing Clever or Google Classroom classes and students, are not working, please log out of and log back into your Quill account. Do so by clicking on your name in the upper right corner of your Quill account and selecting the Logout option from the dropdown menu that appears. Logging out of and logging back into your Quill account will refresh your connection with the platform and may fix the issue.


Quill loads slowly or does not load

If the Quill page loads slowly or does not load at all, firstly, ensure that your internet connection is active and strong. If your internet connection is active and strong, please clear the cache on the Google Chrome browser.

To clear the cache on the Google Chrome browser, click the three vertical dots icon in the upper right corner of the Google Chrome browser.

Then, click Clear Browsing Data.

Then, select the date range for which you would like to clear the cache and only check the box to the left of Cached images and files. Lastly, click the Clear data button.

Once you have cleared the cahce, attempt load the Quill page that would not load once more. Please note that you may have to sign into your Quill account.

Banner at the top of the page loads, but nothing underneath loads

If clearing the cache does not resolve the issue or you can only view the Quill banner at the top of the page, ensure that Javascript is enabled on the Google Chrome browser.

To enable Javascript on Google Chrome, open Google Chrome on your device and click the three vertical dots icon in the upper right corner.

Then, click Settings from the menu that appears.

Then, click Privacy and security on the menu on the left side of the page that subsequently appears.

Then, click Site settings on the page that subsequently appears.

Then, scroll down to the Content section and click JavaScript.

Then, select Sites can use Javascript.

Tip 💡

If you reset the cache and enable Javascript, but Quill still does not load, try to access Quill from another browser, such as Firefox, Safari, or Edge/Internet Explorer.


Firewall issues

If the website still does not load after this, you may be experiencing a firewall issue. Please reach out to your IT Department with the information listed in this article.
