Quill works best on the Google Chrome browser, which is available to download on your computer, tablet, or mobile device. We recommend keeping your version of Chrome up to date.

Unable to Use Certain Features - Log Out

If you are able to log into Quill, but certain features are not working such as importing Clever or Google Classroom rosters, please log out and log back into Quill. You can do this by clicking on your name on the top right corner of the screen and selecting “Log out.” This will refresh our connection with the platform and allow you to successfully import your classes.


Quill Loads Slowly - Clear Cache

If you are unable to load Quill, or the page is loading slowly, resetting your browser cache often fixes the issue. To clear your cache:

  1. On your Chrome browser, click the three vertical dots in the top right corner.

  2. Click More Tools, and then Clear Browsing Data.

  3. Check the date range

  4. Check the box next to Cached Images and Files.

  5. Click Clear Data.

Banner at the Top of the Page Loads but Nothing Else - Enable Javascript

If clearing the cache does not work, ensure that Javascript is enabled on the browser. To enable Javascript on Google Chrome:

  • Open Chrome on your computer, then click the three vertical dots in the top right corner.

  • Click Settings.

  • Click Privacy and Security.

  • Click Site settings.

  • Scroll down the page to Content

  • Click JavaScript.

  • Select Sites can use Javascript.

If you reset the cache and Quill still does not load, try to access Quill from another browser, such as Firefox, Safari, or Edge/Internet Explorer.


Unable to Access Activities - Firewall

If the website still does not load after this, you may be experiencing a firewall issue. Please reach out to your IT department with the information listed in our firewall article.


Bug Reporting

If neither clearing the cache nor troubleshooting with steps from our firewall article resolves the issue, there may be a bug on our end that we will try to resolve as quickly as possible!

To help us solve the issue, we would be very grateful if you could help us by recording your screen so that we can see the bug.

To do so, click on the chat bubble on the bottom of your screen, then click on the "Capture My Screen" button. This will allow you to record your screen without needing to install any software, and it will be automatically sent to our developers.
