We recommend that all users assign one of our diagnostics to their students as our diagnostics determine the skills with which your students are proficient and the skills with which they are not yet proficient. The diagnostics cover vital sentence construction skills and will generate a plan of practice recommendation activities based on a student’s diagnostic performance.
Although you can assign a diagnostic at any point during the school year, we recommend assigning a diagnostic at the following times:
At the beginning of the school year or semester
Each of our diagnostics covers a variety of skills that are important for students to know to become strong writers. We currently offer the following diagnostics:
Starter, Intermediate, and Advanced Diagnostics
Please read more about these diagnostics here.
Once you assign a diagnostic, students will be able to complete this diagnostic and demonstrate the skills with which they are proficient and the skills with which they are not yet proficient. After students complete a diagnostic, you can assign their practice recommendation activities so that they can hone the skills with which they are not yet proficient.
