If you are a new teacher on Quill, we recommend that you start by assigning one of our entry diagnostics to your students to quickly determine which skills your students need to work on. The diagnostics cover vital sentence construction skills and generates a personalized learning plan based on the student’s performance.
We also recommend that you start the school year by assigning the Diagnostic to your students to identify their learning gaps and assign them the recommended activities or class lessons.
Teachers can assign the Starter Diagnostic to evaluate students' mastery of the basics and to make sure all students have a solid foundation. Then, once a student completes the Starter Diagnostic recommended practice activities, they can move right on to the Intermediate Diagnostic and delve into in more advanced writing, grammar, and sentence construction topics
