Quill administrators have access to various resources to ensure a successful Quill implementation. Click below for troubleshooting tips and resource links you can share with teachers.

Admin Account (Premium Hub)

Quill administrators have access to Quill's administrator dashboard, the Premium Hub. It allows you to view subscription details, add teachers and administrators to your school, log in to teachers' accounts to troubleshoot, generate reports for your school, and more!

Setting Up Your Rostering Integration

Quill currently offers the options below for teachers to sign up and roster classes:

We strongly recommend selecting an integration for the entire school year. Changing mid-year can cause rostering challenges and duplicate student accounts. In addition, most integrations require admin setup. Review the table below to find links to resources.

Teacher Sign Up

If teachers are new to Quill, they can sign up for their own accounts on our sign-up page. Alternatively, you can create accounts for teachers through the Premium Hub.

Teachers at your school/district might have active Quill accounts. In this case, they can log in to their existing accounts and ensure they are connected to the school.

Rostering Directions

Send the corresponding set of directions to teachers depending on the school's/district's selected integration:

Premium Access

Teachers must link their Quill accounts to their schools to receive access to their Premium subscription. Linking to the school also links their accounts to the Premium Hub, your administrator dashboard.

Teachers will be prompted to link to their schools during the initial sign-up process. They can search for the schools by name or zip code:

If teachers skipped this step or did not link to the school during the initial sign-up, they can connect to the school via their account settings (located in the Home tab under the My Account page).

PD & Training

Self-paced training

Your Premium school/district subscription includes access to Quill Academy, our new library of self-paced training courses.

These quick, targeted courses guide teachers on how to get started with Quill and implement our tools. Courses are 15-25 minutes long. Teachers can complete a course in a prep period and download a certificate of completion.

Teachers can access Quill Academy and complete courses anytime through the Quill Academy tab on their dashboards:

Live Professional Development

School Premium subscriptions can schedule live virtual professional learning workshops and/or training sessions from our menu of options at an additional cost per session. Email schools@quill.org to receive more information about PD offerings available to your school.

District Premium subscriptions include access to two professional development sessions. Contact your Professional Learning Manager for information and availability.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

  • Teachers at my school do not have access to Premium reports.

Ensure teachers have connected their Quill accounts to their schools. They an confirm that their account is correctly connected by verifying whether the "School Premium" or "District Premium" symbol is displayed next to the Quill logo (according to your type of subscription.)

  • My Premium Hub does not display every teacher at the school.

Ensure teachers have connected their Quill accounts to their schools. The Premium Hub updates nightly, so if a teacher has just connected to the school, check back after 24 hours.
